Wildflower Preserve

Situated at the entrance to Travis Country, the Wildflower Preserve is home to a diverse range of
plants and animals that are native to the Texas Hill Country. Flowers like the Centauri (above), and
the rare Plateau Gerardia -- a plant known from only six Texas counties -- grow here. The careful
observer will see the Rufous Hummingbird, the larvae of the Monarch Butterfly, and many other
species (to see more pictures of the Preserve, click here or on the Photo Albums on the
sidebar menu at left).
